It’s hard enough to work out all the technology available to us these days, let alone what is the appropriate way to use them.

We are constantly told “what goes on the net, stays on the net”, or “don’t leave incriminating photos on your Facebook because employers are going to judge you on that too.”

But is this true?

Let’s go through the myriad of ways that we can now communicate, and define what is appropriate, what will harm us, why, and what is left to just have fun.
